Date: Época Moderna
Description: This temple presents two altarpieces with proper characteristics of this art, very frequent in this region. The main altar has decorated columns with rose wreaths, the vertical decorative clasps in braid are disposed as an inverted pyramid and in the center the arc it contains the keys and tiara of Saint Peter, patron of the Church of S. Martinho.
One another element is the sanctum, similar to a safe with a door in form of medallion.
As for the altarpiece of Our Lady do Rosário, the elements are very similar to the main altar of of S. Martinho de Angueira, as well as many other details, which leads to believe that the same wood carver made the two workmanships.
State of conservation: Good
